CHS launches in Haitian Creole
The Core Humanitarian Standard (CHS) is now available in Haitian Creole thanks to the Haiti Accountability Learning Working Group.
The CHS management team would like to thank all those who took part in translating the document: Esaïe Clervil (RNDDH); Jethro Sereme, Mackenson Pierre-Louis, Marie Mimose Jeune, Eric Beaubrun, Sarah Jean Paul and Dolores Numa (American Red Cross); Joseph Severe (UNASCAD); Jocelyn Numa (Christian Aid); Geneviève Blaise Régis (CARE Haiti); and Salomon Destin. The new language version of the CHS will be an invaluable resource for the community of humanitarian and development organisations working in Haiti.
The CHS is also available in Arabic, Bahasa Indonesia, Bangla, English, French, Khmer, Korean, Nepali, Spanish, Thai, Turkish and Urdu on the Standard page of the CHS website.
We also encourage organisations to translate the CHS into other languages to help disseminate the document more widely. Those wishing to do so should first email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information and approval from the CHS communications team.
